Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly start-ups, lack support and sometimes experience in certain departments, most notably administration and fundraising.
Furthermore, the current labour shortage complicates the expansion of SMEs. It is therefore critical that they have access to working capital as well as hiring assistance programs, in addition to proper administration management.
Consultation ALQ's mission is thus to help these businesses grow.
Anne-Lyse found a job in a Montreal start-up that operates in the field of civil engineering in 2019, after finishing her Bachelor's degree in international trade at HEC Montreal. Her responsibilities were varied, and she held numerous roles such as recruitment, general administration, grant and loan project management, and even company logistics management.
In parallel with her job, in 2020, Anne-Lyse started a Master's degree in global supply chain management at HEC Montréal, from which she graduated in 2022.
Once her Master's degree was completed, Anne-Lyse found a job in the health service in the Quebec region as a logistics service manager.
Her life and work experiences are enriching and have shaped the person she is today. Dynamic. Cheerful. Organized.
In 2023, Consultation ALQ is joining forces with Frederik Plourde to support the growth of the company. Frederik is the co-founder of 2 companies in the Montreal region and has raised non-dilutive funds for his respective companies to approximately $3.5M. He is, therefore, very familiar with the different grant and loan programs available in Quebec and Canada.
